2019 – France

Baptiste Combescure, 22 years old had the chance to learn bridge with the very best as his father who finished 2nd in the last Bermuda Bowl taught him everything he knows. Baptiste has been playing for the French junior teams since 2011 and still has 3 years to go! He has several international medals as well as national titles. Apart from Bridge, Baptiste is a student in wealth management at Paris Dauphine.

Pierre Franceschetti bumped into bridge during his lunch breaks at school when he was 14. Now 31 he never gave up on the game and bridge has been his full time job for quite some time now. Winning a world championship in 2008 (under 20’s) certainly helped!

Pierre enjoys all Paris activities where his home is and likes all kind of sports … especially watching them!

Yoram Galinsky, 37 years old living in Paris, France.
He has been a professionnal bridge player for9 years, teaching and organizing bridge tournaments. French Junior Team member in 2005/2006, currently at the highest rank in France.

Apart from bridge, he also likes cinema, detective novels and practicing sports like bowling and paddle.

Christophe Grosset, 32 has won titles both internationally and in France but is still looking for a first victory in the UK, it’s new country, since he married a subject of the queen. His biggest fear in life is that his little girl might speak better English than French. Bridge is now how he makes a living, both by playing profesionaly and by working with the Funbridge team.
